WEDNESDAY, Oct. 11, 1933 CHILL IC 0 TI TI 0 I 15 FAGEW1 SANITORIUM OPENS Dr. Gladys Ingram, local chiropractor, opens the first Chiropractic Sanitorium in the state at 415 Webster At the sanitormm both out-of-town and local patients will be cared for through the science of Chiropractic. Patients will be given the proper care in every way, not only having the adjustments as needed but they will have rest, correct diet and competent nursing. Everything possible will be done for their comfort during the period of their recovery.

During her eighteen years of practice Dr. Ingram has many times felt the need of such an institution for the care of patients and has now realized her ambition to some time open such an institution. Dr. Gladys Ingram Ingram Chiropractic Sanitorium at 415 Webster Street. The building at 415 Webster has been completely redecorated and arranged for the comfort of patients.

The many windows give an abundance of sunlight and ventilation. The spacious porches with south and east exposures make an ideal place for patients to enjoy well as benefit from the fresh air and sunshine. The lounge Is large and comfortably furnished for use of the patients. Being located away from the business section, the sanatorium is a wonderful "place in which to rest and recuperate. Though visiting hours to patients are necessarily restricted visitors to the sanitor- ium are welcome at all times.

They need no introduction to people in and around Chillicothe, having lived here for more than.twenty years. Mrs. Mallory, who's -excellent cooking has won the praise of Chillicotheans, will be in charge of the diet kitchen. Mallory, who has been custodian at the Baptist Church, is well fitted for the same work at the Sanitorium. Dr. Ingram wishes to give those seeking health the best of care at the lowest possible cost. I Dr. Ingram, who has practiced for nearly three years in Chilli- collie, is a graduate of the Palmer School of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. She has taken post graduate work at the Lincoln College of Chiropractic in Indianapolis, and is at present a member of the college executive board.

Before coming to Chillicothe. Dr. Ingram had practiced in Trenton for several years. A recent letter from Dr. Thomas P.

Manor, secretary of the Missouri Chiropracnc Association, signilks why Dr. Ingram has been so suc- ccs.ful in her practice. The person find ing the most mispelled words an'd writing an essay of not more than 2 00 words on "Why I Like To Do Business 'With These Firms" will be awarded a prize of $15 in cash.
