WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, L976 of school I bus cited The driver of an Amphitheater School District bus carrying about 50 students was cited after the bus was involved in a minor traffic collision, sheriff's deputies say. Authorities said Gloria C. Tivis, 39 of 1508 E. Blacklidge Drive, was cited after the bus I collided with a car at the in- i tersection of Oracle and River I roads 8:24 a.m. yesterday.

No injuries were reported. Deputies said the bus, headed east on River Road, was turning south onto Oracle when it collided with the rear end of a car driven by Glenna 1 R. Mabe, 28, of 7722 N. Camino de Maximillian. She was turning in the same direction, said Mark Pettit, Sheriff's information officer.

Damage to the vehicles was minor. The bus driver was cited for driving at a "speed greater i than reasonble and prudent," i according to authorities. A I I I Collision kills Marine pilot YUMA, Ariz. (AP) investigators were looking into the mid-air collision between two fighter-bombers which left one Marine pilot dead. Marine Corps officials said the mishap occurred about 40 miles east of Yuma between a Marine F4 Phantom jet and a Navy A4 Skyhawk.

One Marine crewman managed to eject from the Phantom and the Navy pilot also parachuted safely, the spokesman said. Marine officials said the two planes were engaged in a mock dogfight when they somehow collided. The Marine air crew, which Marine officials at their Yuma air base would not identify, was stationed in Beaufort, S.C. The Navy jet was from Miramar Naval Air Station in San Diego. The Navy pilot involved was 'identified as Lt.

Michael Garland of San Diego. He was not reported injured. The surviving Marine airman was taken to the Yuma base hospital where his condition was not known.
