Voris Fine gave birth to a daughter, Dr. J. R. Montgomery placed the youngster on his baby scale. But It wasn't made for that hig a baby.

Montgomery borrowed a set of scales from a grocer. The Infant weighed in at slightly more than 1G pounds. She was Mrs. Fine's eighth child. But her mother wasn't surprised at the weight.
