Page 20 — Saturday, September 20, 2003 SPORTS jlttbiana (gazette Giants fan kills Dodgers fan in stadium By The Associated Press LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles Dodgers fan was shot and killed by a San Francisco Giants fan following a dispute in the parking lot after the Giants' 6-4 win over the Dodgers Friday, police said. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police spokeswoman Adriana Sanchez said. He was shot in the torso at about 10 p.m. as people were leaving the game. CHICAGO — Kansas City Roy- Briefs als coach Tom Gamboa filed a lawsuit against the man who ran onto the field at U.S. Cellular Field with his son last season and attacked him. The lawsuit was filed in Cook County Circuit Court against William Ligue Jr. of Alsip, as well as the security firm and concessionaire at the ballpark at the time of the attack. According to the Chicago Tribune, Gamboa is asking for more than $200,000 in damages from Ligue, Illinois SportService Inc., a subsidiary of Buffalo, N.Y.-based Delaware North Companies, and SDI Security Inc., which provides security at the balip ark. Basketball INDIANAPOLIS — Kenny Anderson signed with the Indiana Pacers, who want greater depth at point guard. Anderson, who turns 33 next month, was a free agent and joined his seventh team since entering the league in 1991. Hall, who was playing at Arkansas at the time of die accident, should pay $220,000 hi compensatory damages and $30,000 in punitive damages to Deborah Mackey, a jury decided.
