She told him that the supposedly respectable head of the school, who claimed he was on duty at the time the fire started, was, in fact, lushing it up with said anonymous tipsy fioazy in a nearby cottage. Whitmore got on the case right nalia. I say let's sentence this script to summer camp for a couple of weeks so it can get some meat on its bones. I also didn't care for the acting, which became too feverish too fast and had no real steam left for die final two acts. The play didn't measure up to the promise contained in the stylish, darkly foreboding commentary of Walter Slezak, the between-the-acts host of this summer series. Dialing and filing: For his final CBS-TV half-hour, George Gobel and Joe Flynn repeated their irreverent sketch about doctors and d r u g g i s t s and a tranquilizer called, "chuck-it-all."
