P I O Z3-P Itnv JAMES MORRISON President of Tire Group Morrison Gefs Top Tire Post James Morrison of Long Beach was named president of the National Tire Dealers and Retreaders Assn. to fill the unexpired one-year term of K.-'R. Schaal, who died Jan. 15 in New York City The term runs u n t i l Sept. 14, I960. Morrison, a charter mem ber of the Tire Retreading Institute, lias served on the NTDRA executive committee 'and board of directors since ]956 and has been serving as first vice president in 19591960. He became partner and general manager of Barnes end Delaney in Long Beach in October 1939. Born in Toronto, Canada, In 1909, the new tire dealer president, educated in the United States, is a past president of the Southern California Tire Dealers and Re- treaders Assn., National Exchange Club of Long Beach and a member of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.
