The bill, already approved by the Senate, failed on a 3-9 vote to receive a "do pass" recommendation. The measure could be considered again by the committee, but Sen. Milt Enrnharl of Fort Smith, the sponsor, said he might ask the full House to re move the measure from com mlttee w that ft may fee coniM- ·red on the floor. The bill would allow legislator!, constitutional officers and elected city and county officials to carry a weapon If they have reason to believe they may be In danger.
