That's easy. She should marry the kind she can be reasonably happy with -- and whom she can keep reasonably happy. What kinds 'of boys should she not marry? Well -- lots of kinds. But she should lake par ticular care not to marry the kind of boy who -Thinks he has a perfect right to snap her garter half an hour after he buys her a steak. Is willing to promise her any thing, but can't write her a love letter that at least sounds sincere. Insists on looking In every closet before he leaves hei apartment, -- just to be sure she isn't hiding a rival there. Doesn't keep her photo in his wallet, so he can show it to old ladies he sits next to on plane trips. Never wants to go on a stroll with her under a full moon. Refuses U light the candles il she thinks it would be romantic for them to dine by candlelight. Is perteclly willing lo buy her' champagne on the first night of the honeymoon, but not on the iecuiici night. Carries his old pet dog -- instead of her -- across the threshold when they first enter Lheir new home. Blows cigar smoke rings in her face to show he's annoyed with her. Won't launder her stockings if she breaks her arm. Is jealous even of her girl friends. WOMAN'S PLACE Thinks a woman looks'Out of place except in the kitchen or the bedroom. Never puts his arms arounc her or kisses the back of her neck while sho is cooking. Is too prissy to go skinny-dip- pinK with her when they're alone on an empty beach dur ing a vacation. Rushes out to buy a new toothbrush if she uses his by mistake. Holds the f a m i l y umbrella mostly over him, not her, they have to go out in the rain Doesn't mind at all if she makes more on her Job than he does on hh his -- particularly [ she spends the money on him. Is unwilling to lake out much Ate insurance on himself because -- "well after all. if you ·omen want to be so damn liberated, you should be perfectly willing to look out after your selves -- if a fellow dies." Wants her to become the second mother of his life. The big trouble, girls, is thai by the time you find out this is Ihe kind of boy you shouldn' marry -- well, you and the big beast are about to celebrate your silver wedding anniversa ry. Randall Oxford and Tamm Reed, both of Fayetleville d e f e a t e d Louisiana Tech Linked to Patient Deaths Dialysis Sugar Solution Recalled By FDA Pleas Entered By Eight Held On Drag Charges WASHINGTON (AP) -- A 'car after the problem was rought. to Its attention, the ?ood and Drug Administration s recalling thousands of bottles of a sugar solution linked to several patient deaths and injuries. Medical experts say the 7- per-cenl dextrose solution, when improperly administered in peritoneal dialysis, can lead to rapid dehydration, shock, coma, convulsions and death. Peritoneal dialysis involves discharging the sugar solution into a patient's abdominal cavity and then draining it, to remove wastes when his kidneys fail to do the job. The recall, limited largely to William Carey, Mississippi College and Louisiana College and lost to LSU and Springhill, La. Oxford was cited as superior in inpromptu speaking E x c e l l e n t ratings were awarded to Miss Kirk in poetry to Miss Fitzgerald in prose, and t o Oxford in persuasive speaking. icspitals, involves existing stocks of the 7-per-cent solution manufactured by Abbott, Trav- enol, McGaw and Cutter laboratories. 11,000 BATTLE REMAINS The FDA said it believes about 11,000 bottles remain in national, and international markets, plus another 17,600 frozen at Cutter outlets in the United States, Canada and the Dominican Republic. The recall amounts to a virtual ban because "there is no justification for approving continued marketing," the FDA said. Most companies stopped manufacturing the 7-per-cent solution, the agency said, after an informal meeting in Chicago early last year of FDA and in dustry representatives and physicians concerned with kidney and peritoneal dialysis. The FDA said Tuesday it has no knowledge of deaths linkec to the solution and at the lime of the ·meeting last year hac ''felt no need for immediate ac tion." Dr. Henry Tenckhoff, associ ate professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, said there have been "a number of reports of deaths clearly related to Inappropriate administration of ;hese solutions."
