Ark., fttlty, Apr! 9, MAIN COURSE DISHES CHICKEN BAKE Mrs. Russell Broylcs Box G harmington, Ark. 2 cups crushed potato chips U cup grated chcdder cheese U cup chopped walnuts 1 tbsp. butter £ cups cooked chicken (cubed) 1's cup sliced celery 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. lemon juice '* cup salad dressing Mix potato chips and cheese. Pat half of the mixture in the bottom of the baking dish. Toiisl the walnuts in the butter lightly. Drain on paper towel. Mix the toasted nuts with the other ingredients. Put in the pan mid top with the remaining cheese mixture. Bake in 450 de gr'.'e oven for 10 minutes. Dip in batter drop in hot deep fat fry until golden brown drain on paper towel. Into a large casserole or Dutch oven, layer the meat alternately with peeled and sliced potatoes, onions, carrots and celery. The top layer should be beef. Salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle spices over meat layer. Pour wine and mushroom ',4 soup over ingredients and cover with water. Cover and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for H4 hours. Remove, sprinkle with cheese, oven brown and sprinkle with chopped parsley just before serving in casserole. H tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. vinegar 1 tsp. herb seasoning 10-11 leaves Rosemary Melt butter -- add season ings. Dip breasts into this mixture. Bake in low dish at 375 degrees for one hour, basting with the rest of the mixture. Add mushrooms last 15 minutes.
