They are Cende Courtney and Sarita Sexton, both Sunnyside High School students, named for their work in polymer; Ed Bukoski, also from Sunnyside, whose collage placed him among the finalists, and Jennifer Janos of Salpointe High School. Miss Janos was named one of the blue ribbon finalists for her work in water color and for a pencil drawing. Representing a cross-section of the Arizona show, the work of the 62 blue ribbon finalists will be sent to the national show in New York City. In the New York exhibit and competition, students wfll be eligible for scholarships, gold medals, special cash awards and the honor of having their work on display in the exhibition. In Arizona, the art contest was sponsored by the Phoenix Union High School System and the Valley National Bank.
