The air over the state will remain very cool, though, with highs in the 40s and lower 50s. A few showers developed across Indiana early Saturday when a cold front moved through the state, and some sprinkles and flurries were scattered over northern and central areas later in the day. Temperatures peaked in the 50s generally late in the morning. With west to northwest winds blowing at 15 to 25 mph and gusts over 30 mph, the weather service isssued wind advisories for Indiana lakes during the afternoon and early evening hours. Monday through Wednesday: Becoming cloudy Monday, with a chance of showers Tuesday and clearing on Wednesday. Highs in the upper 50s to upper 60s on Monday, cooling to the mid 40s to mid 50s by Wednesday. Lows in the 30s on Monday and Wednesday and in the 40s on Tuesday. 50 FRONTS: SHOWERS Map shows maximum temperatures. Albany.N.Y. Showers and thunderstorms also extended from Tennessee across the Ohio Valley and from eastern North Carolina across eastern New York state and New England. More than an inch and a half of rain fell between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST Saturday at Patuxent River, Md., while an inch was measured at Salisbury, Md., and Dover, Del.
