Bob Corson's six-hit pitching and the hitting ot Tony Semore and Ken Overmoe sparked the Panthers to their first league win in four starts. Semore smacked a double and two singles, and Overmoe drove in three runs with a pair of safeties. McKinleyville scored a trio of runs in the second, fifth and sixth innings. They added one tally in the fourth. Fcrndalc scored single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings, but could get no closer to the Panthers than 3-2 and 4-3. - The Panthers' three-run rally in the fifth inning made it 7-3 and iced the win. A walk, a steal, a passed ball, a fielder's choice, Semore's double, a wild pitch and an RBI single by Overmoe pro vided the scoring. Junior Jacks In 12th Win Of Year At Eureka Mike McGinness' sacrifice bunt in the top of the eighth inning scored Don Timmons and gave the Humboldt State Junior 'Jacks a 6-5 win over Eureka High Tuesday. The win was the collegians' llth straight, and their 12lh in 14 starts this season. Ken Bird was the starting pitcher, with spot relief from winner Jay Dickinson. Steve Wahlund was the loser, after relieving starter Homer Fosdick in the seventh frame. Eureka held a 4-3 lead after three innings. The fourth, fifth and sixth frames were scoreless, and then HSC went ahead 5-4.
