Phyllis Newman has been added to the regular cast of CBS-TV's "Diagnosis Unknown." Miss Newman will portray the role of Doris Hudson, a lab technician. David Geisel, director of this season's "Pat Boone Show" on ABC-TV, wiH be ibe new director of "The Garry Moore Show" next fall.- He succeeds Julio De Benedetto, who will produce and* direct Ae CBS-TV half-hour "Candid Camera" »e- .ries next season. Art James will emcee NBC- TV's "Concentration" for tw» weeks starting Jviite 13 while Hugh Downs vacations. A monthly feature of "The Ed Sullivan Show" next season will be called "See America," in which the CBS-TV hour will originate in such cities as San Francisco, Dallas and New Orleans. "All-Family Classics," a series of . six: two-hour dramatic specials, is being produced for CBS-TV's 1980-61 schedule by David Susskind. Based on such novels as "Tom Sawyer," "The Three Musketeers" and "David Copperfield",. the productions will be seen in two hour-long installments on successive evenings.
