The betrothal is announced by the bride-elect's parents Mr. and Mrs. John E. Hancock of Prescott. Barbara . Jean was graduated from- : Prescott High School and re, ceived bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Arizona. The bride-elect is a member 'of Delta Psi Kappa and Pi Lambda Theta honoraries and teaches at Amphitheater High ' School. Mr. Souter, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Souter, 342 W. Pastime Road, was graduated f r o m Amphitheater High School and UA. The prospective bridegroom is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi and Phi Delta Kappa honoraries. His fraternity is Kappa Alpha. Mr. Souter is in computer operations at the Bank of Tucson.
