Catherine Downing of Milford, Del., national vice president general of the pfliwhters of the American Revolution, will be guest of honor at the 64th annual state convention to be held at the Santa Rita Hotel. Members of the Tucson chapt · will be hostesses for the conference which begins Thursday, March 17 and ends Saturday, March 19. A board meeting will be held March 17. Registration begins March 18 at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. conference. A noon luncheon will be served and the conference will continue in the afternoon. A 7 p.m. banquet will be held that night. Reservations should be made by noon Tuesday with Mrs. Bernard Simons, 60 E. Camino Miramonte, or Mrs. Arline Shallcross, 213 N. 2nd Ave. Installation of officers will take place March 19. Flower Show To Be Interpreted A flower show interpretation meeting is slated Thurs- uay, March 24, and Friday, March 25, at the TuesOu Garden Club, 311 N. Campbell Ave. The Judges CouncO of Tucson will interpret the schedule for the annual spring flower,show sponsored by the Tucson Council of Garden Clubs. The flower show will be held April 16 and 17 and it's .not too soon to start planning entries. To help those who will enter the show, the Judges Council will present two identical sessions.
