The burning problem of the day is how to prevent this increase of insanity. What is the use of wasting time and energy on an education bill when we have before us this absorbing problem, the contemplation of an insane world to deal with." la these, days of rush and hurry ourtesy is often forgotten. In the mad, pell mell rush of our life little things are done to offend that we rather remained undone. A lastily eaten meal and its resultant headache may cause us social or financial loss. When asked about the matter today Mr. Vandiver said: "I have not been quoted correctly. 1 have announced that I would require of new fraternal companies asking for license to do business in this state after the first of next January that they adopt an adequate rate which will be approximately that of the fraternal congress, which I consider an adequate rate. But those companies which are now doing business in the state providing they are doing a safe business, I will not refuse license for them to continue. I will, howeyer, suggest to them that they raise their rates and urge them to do so.' 1 It is a well known medical fact that pine resin is most effective in the treatment of diseases of the bladder and Kidneys.
