Native Daughters To Meet Jointly In Ferndale Members of Occident, parlor No. 28, Nalive Daughters of the Golden West, will take part in a district meeting in Ferndale on April 27, along with other parlors of the area to make plans for the official visit of the Grand President on May 11. Orieonta parlor in Ferndale will be the hostess parlor for this year's official visit with Reichling parlor, Fortuna, Arcata parlor and Occident parlor of Eureka participating in the entertaining of the Grand President, Mrs. Alice Shea. Occident, at a recent meeting presided over by Mrs. John Prater, discussed these and other coming events. Mrs. John Kamph of Oneonta parlor of Ferndale, deputy grand president to Occident parlor, was formally . sented. She congratulated the parlor on its work and recent projects. The birthdays of Leta Llndberg and Amy Cook were noted.' Rainbow for Girls held their first fashion Show on Saturday afternoon April 7, at the Woman's clubhouse with Rebecca Moore and Susan Arnold as chairman.
