Weekend Matchups Purchase Line (1-7) at Saftsburg (2-6) Kickoff: Friday, 7 p.m. Matchup: Purchase Line looks for its second win of the season and Saltsburg aims to finish with its second win in three games in a Heritage Conference game. Last week: Purchase Line lost to Marion Center 39-0, and Saltsburg lost to LigonierValley 26-14. Last meeting: Purchase Line won 33-20 last year. Key stats: Purchase Line averages 164.9 total yards per game and allows 324.3 total yards and 40.4 points per game. Quarterback Derek Chura is 30- for-57 for 447 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Nick Engle has 552 yards on 116 carries and has scored four touchdowns. Saltsburg ranks just ahead of Purchase Line in total offense at 177.3 yards per game. The Trojans give up 238.8 yards and 19.0 points per game. Key stats: Homer-Center averages 238.0 total yards and 18.9 points per game and allows 181.9 total yards and 10.0 points per game. The Wildcats lead the area in passing defense al 37.5 yard sper game. Quarterback Aaron Pierce is 42-for-94 for 730 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Jeremy Barber has 16 receptions for 403 yards for an area-high average of 25.2 yards per catch. Ryan Buchner has 411 yards on 88 carries, and Eric McCombie has 263 yards on 48 carries. Jonathan Buggey shares the area lead in interceptions with four. Penns Manor leads the conference in passing offense at 136.5 yards per game. ChrisTwigg is 44-for-118 for 779 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions, and Todd Trimble is 20- for-41 for 313 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions.
