The freeze involves 10 claims for 13,331 acres of federal land northwest of Phoenix., , Prior to his arrest, companies with .which Moran is affiliated" gained .title to 7,490 acres in the Mqrrlstown area. Magistrate Dick Rykken freed William Woodrow Chalmers, 47, of 2825 E. Alta Vista, of a charge of furnishing liquor after hours. Chalmers is the owner of Bill's Tavern, 4607 E. 22nd St. Bartenders William Albert Barber, 37, of 5717 Skyline Ave., and Max Reid Rodgers, 22, of Davis-Monthan AFB, were found innocent of frequenting a drinking establishment after hours. Attorney Richard B. Evans defended all three men. They were arrested after an officer reported finding them at a table on which an open bottle of beer and glass cf beer were resting. Souvanna Off To Plaine To Resume Peace Talks VIENTIANE, Laos--*--Neutralist Premier Prince Souvanna Phouma flew to the Pinine des Jarres area today to resume peace talks with the Communist con- trolled--Pathet Lao. He faced widening demands from the Pathet Lao Circus Time Set At 4 and 8:15 P.M. The Rudy Bros. Circus will give performances at 8:15 tonight arid a(. 4 and 8:15 p.m. tomorrow at the Pima County Fairgrounds. The circus is sponsored by the Tucson Shrine Club and profits from the four benefit performances will be used for Shrine welfare activities, including the Square Compass Crippled Children's Clinic on E. Broadway. To allow children and adults time to view the animals, doors will open one hour before each performance. Fighting in the Plaine has lulled since Friday. The Pathet Lao demanded an expansion of the truce talks after charging that right-wing forces of Gen. Phoumi Nosavan were airlifted a b o a r d American planes to the Plaine to reinforce outnumbered troops of Neutralist Gen. Kong Le. KONG LE, Phoumi and the American Embassy denied the accusations. Western officials h a v e charged t h a t Communist North Viet Nam is aiding the Pathet Lao drive to overrun this strategic S o u t h e a s t Asian kingdom. Sixteen North Vietnamese technicians employed at the Plaine des Jarres airport were repatriated to Hanoi today by agreement of the North Vietnamese and L a o t i a n governments. NORTH VIET NAM also announced it will withdraw for "security reasons" an estimated 300 other worker constructing houses at Khang Khay, the Pathet Lao head quarters. ·Meanwhile the Interna tional Control Commission (ICC), charged with maintain ing peace in Laos, said it wil establish a continuing pbser vation base in the Plaine to help maintain calm in th troubled area. It has been making periodic trips to tin Plaine. Informed sources notet however that Poland, th Communist member of th three-nation commission, op posed the decision. Ganad and India, the other tw members, apparently decided n the continuing observation xjst over Polish objections, 'he Pathet Lao previously 'sad opposed stationing over n ICC team permanently in the troubled area. Averell Harriman last week hat he will support neutrally for Laos, some diplomatic observers here described Harriman's peacemaking mission :o Moscow as hopeless from .he start.
