Henrisey, a Tucson contractor who died yesterday following a long illness. Mr. Henrisey, 69, of 1038 E. 6th St., carne to Tucson in 1920. A native of Manteno, 111., he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, third degree; t h e Tucson Chamber of Commerce; the Sunshine Club; and the Tuc- scn Contractors Association. The Rosary will be offered by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Arthur F. Cramer at 7:30 p.m. in the Reilly Funeral Home chapel. A Requiem Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. tomorrow in SS. Peter and Paul Church and burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia McClanahan and Mrs. Pauline Crabtree; a brother, Paul, of Manteno, and two sisters, Mrs. Leo Trepanier, of Tucson, and Mrs. Richard King, of Los Angeles. Singer Gets Fine On Pill Charge EL PASO, Tex. - UPI Country and western singer Johnny Cash was given a 30- day suspended sentence and a $1,000 fine for smuggling 1,000 pep pills and tranquilizers into the United States from Mexico. U.S. Dist. Judge D. W. Suttle could have sent Cash to jail for a year. The singer, 33, appealed for leniency. Cash was arrested at El Paso International Airport Oct. 4 with amphetamine and tranquilizer (Equanil) tablets in his possession. He pleaded guilty Dec. 28. Cash appeared to be overcome with emotion after the sentencing. He asked permission to' leave the court to compose himself. After court adjourned, he stepped in an elevator and shouted, "Hallelujah!" In asking leniency, Cash told Suttle: In asking leniency, Cash told Suttle: "I know that I have made a terrible mistake and would like to go back to rebuilding the image I had before this happened." Judge Suttle passed sentence with this admonition for Cash: "Without attempting to lecture you, someone with your commendations . . . must realize that these things carry responsibility and you must live on a little higher plane than someone who is not as talented or who does not have your follow- in?." Anderson Rites Held Funeral services were held this afternoon for Dr. Carl A. Anderson, who practiced medicine in Tucson for about 40 . Dr.' Anderson, of 3517 N. Forgeus Ave., died at a rest home Monday. He was 87. _ The funeral services were held at Arizona Mortuary with the Rev. Dale E. Hewitt, of Trinity Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Altadena, Calif. Dr. Anderson came to Tucson in 1918 as a physician to the Papago Indians. He later was sent to Johns Hopkins University fcv the U.S. government to study effects of poison gasses on the U He returned to Tucson in 1922 and served as a doctor at the Veterans Hospital. _ Dr Anderson is survived by one son, Curtiss, a counselor at Tucson High School, and a grandson. ______ BECHER, Kurt M., 72, of 5840 Flying M.
