On Wednesday, Ward 2 residents will meet at Sewell Elementary School Auditorium, 425 N. Sahuara Ave., and Ward 6 will meet at Mansfeld Junior High School cafeteria, 1300 E. 6th St. On Thursday, Ward 1 will meet at El Rio Neighborhood Center Auditorium, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd.; Ward 3 at Keeling Elementary Multipurpose Room, 535 E. Glenn St.; Ward 4 at Palo Verde High School Cafeteria, 1302 S. Avenida Vega and Ward 5 at the El Pueblo Neighborhood Center Auditorium, 101 W. Irvington Road. Subjects of discussions will include a presentation by Guy Green and Associates on plans for the Santa Cruz linear park, planned for a 12-mile segment of the river from Los Reales Road on the south to Camino del Cerro on the north. The meetings this week begin at 7:30 p.m. Citizen Participation meetings are held monthly. Japan quake minor TOKYO (UPI) -- A weak earthquake shook northern Kanto, but caused no damage or casualties, the meteorological agency said. A southwestern seminar on neuromuscular diseases featuring speakers from throughout the country, is scheduled at Arizona Medical Center Friday and Saturday.
