Work? He thrives on it. Work? He couldn't be happy without it. Those sentences briefly tell the story of Miles Arnold, a gentleman who has been in the restaurant business 35 years, 15 of them as an owner. One restaurant kept this adept operator fairly busy but not busy enough -- so he opened another. Two restaurants kept him quite busy--but he still had energy left over and opened a third. Three restaurants should have been enough, but not for a man like Miles Arnold. He now owns and operates four large, successful restaurants -- and he's never been happier. The four places are Arnold's Town House, 3925 Atlantic Ave.; Arnold's Belmont Shore, 5100 E. 2nd St.; Arnold's Farm House, 6591 Manchester Blvd., adjacent to the Santa Ana Freeway in Buena Park, and The Buttery, across the street from the Farm House. The first three places are serve-yourself establishments famed for delectable roast beef, ham, turkey, chicken, scads of salads and numerous fine desserts. THE FOURTH PLACE, The Buttery, is Arnold's newest, being only slightly over a year old, and although it is not a cafeteria it has met with the same sort of immediate success which characterized his other places. The Buttery is a beautiful restaurant, with an Old English style of architecture a n d f u r n i s h i n g s . Among its attractions are eight handsome stained glass windows. Its two dining rooms seat a total of 150 guests. Open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily (closed Tuesdays), The Buttery features broiled steaks, one-pound cuts of prime rib, lobster, beefsteak-and-mushroom pie, Cornish game hen, torneados of beef and Welsh rarebit. The dinners range in price from $1.75 to $3.95. Carmen Dunn entertains nightly on the organ in The Buttery's cocktail lounge. --TEDD THOMEY ORAL ROOM tontout for · · Milk corn-frd chkVrn · Bar-B-Q Spatcrlbi . · Chicago-Detroit Style * Steaks Luncheons GArfield 6-1026 TAKE OUT ORDERS OUR SPECIALTY HA 5-1114 STEAKS'CHICKEN-LOBSTER 95 Top SlrUln, Hi.
