WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9, 1966 T U C S O N D A I L Y C I T I Z E N PAGE 23 The human body ordinarily is well-equipped for the struggle it must continually make to adapt to the particular climate in which it lives. If it does go off kilter with, for example, such ailm e n t s as poor circulation, or respiratory upsets or skin trouble, n may be helped somewhat by what some biometeorologists describe as "climatic treatment" -- judicious doses of either cold or warm weather up in the mountains or down by the seashore. The main result of such cli- matic treatment may be a good rest for the body's defense mechanisms against sudden changes in the weather at home. In the treatment climate the body exists hi an unusual climate -- unusual to that particular body -- which, however, is a stable atmosphere. Hot. tropical rlimat.es don't seem to be" so beneficial for climatic treatment, but seacoast or high altitude can provide a welcome difference or change that gives as much of a mental charge as it does a physical relief. Such treatment, however, may work for some of us and not for others. --Medicus Famflius pofo From U.S. Wf ATM* tUKIAU Figures Show Low Temperature!
