The UA Invitational Swimming and Diving Meet, began today, bringing together some of the top women's swimming and diving competition from the western states. The event is the fourth of the year for the UA team, and the only major multi-team event to be held in Tucson this year. In other UA women's athlet- ics this weekend, the basketball team, which played in Laramie, -Wyo., today against the University of Wyoming, meets Northern Colorado tomorrow in Greeley on its way home. The University gymnastics team is also in Greeley tomorrow for a meet with the Bears, while the women's tennis team is in Santa Barbara, Calif., for play in the Santa Barbara Intercollegiate Tennis Invitational, which concludes Sunday.
