Goff-Allison Wedding Vows at Lawrence Old-West Flavor In Wedding Rites Plymouth Congregational Church, Lawrence, was the setting March 17 for the exchange of wedding vows between Kathie Lynn Goff, Shawnee, and David G. Allison, Merriam. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray H.

Goff, Shawnee. He is the son of Mrs. Harry Allison and the late Mr. Allison, 410 Central. The Rev.

Homer Henderson and the Rev. Arden Dorn officiated at the ceremony. Mary Lou Roberts was organist. The bride wore a floor-length A-line gown of quiana, with a scalloped neckline and short- sleeves. A Juliette headpiece held her veil.

She carried stephanotis and white sweetheart roses. The maid of honor was Dottle Miller, Lawrence. Bridesmaids were Robin Bedlington, Washington, D.C.; and two sisters of the bride, Jody Washburn, Denver, and Audrey McGill, Kansas City, Mo. They wore emerald floor- length gowns and carried single long-stemmed white roses. Lyle Young, Lawrence, served as best man.

Groomsman was Dewayne Edwardsi Kansas City, Mo. Ushers were Harry W. Allison and B. G. Allison, Indianapolis, brothers of the bridegroom.

Serving at the reception at the Eldridge House, Lawrence, were Bonnie Kilgore, niece of the bride from Denver; Carmen and Sabrina Allison, the bridegroom's nieces frjojn Leavenwortn; and Ben Sell and Mark Hein from Kansas City, Mo. Brenda Rosenbaum, Kansas City, was at the gift table. Theresa Andrus, Leavenworth, was at the guest book. After a wedding trip to San Francisco, the couple is at home in Merriam. Mrs.

She is working for Caterpillar Tractor Peoria, 111., in a co-op program and will transfer to Bradley University at Peoria, after the wedding. Mr. Plummer is a 1974 graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. He is also employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co.

The couple plans to be married May 29. Williams-Jones Mr. and Mrs. Roysell Williams, 104 Montezuma, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Marie, to Maurice Jones, son.of Mayola, -Jones and Solomon Jones, 'Mich. Miss Williams is a graduate of Immaculata High School.

She received a B.S. degree in psychology from Alabama State University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. The bride-elect is employed by the Montgomery, Mental Health Authority. Mr.

Jones was graduated with a degree in business administration from Alabama State University. He is a member of Phi Eta Psi fraternity. He is employed with Electronic Data Systems, Chicago. The wedding date will be announced. Vicki Holtzclaw Engagement Is Announced Bill Olive, the engagement of their daughter, Vicki B.

Holtzclaw, to Martin K. Zentner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zentner, Joplin, Mo. Miss Holtzclaw is a sophomore at Kansas State College at Pittsburg, majoring in English.

Mr. Zentner is also a sophomore at Pittsburg, majoring in music. The couple plan to be married August 6. Kathryn Plory and Dennis Stebbins exchanged marriage vows the evening of Feb. 27 at the Lone Star Church of the Brethren.

The Rev. Jeffrey Johnson perforrred the double- ring ceremony before a candlelit altar adorned with a basket of red snapdragons, pink and white carnations and flanked by candelabra. "The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Flory, Route 5 Lawrence, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr.

and Mrs. Wayne Stebbins, Perry. Wedding music included "A Very Special Love Song," "Annie's Song," "Colour My World," and "We've Only Just Begun" provided by organist Thelma Flory. Elizabeth Young from Leavenworth lit the altar candles during the organ music of "Sunshine on My Shoulders." She wore a floor-length pink gown and her headpiece was a matching pink organza old-time Her dress was handmade by the mother of the bride. She wore a wrist corsage of pink and white carnations.

The mother of the bride wore a full-length pink gown. The mother of the bridegroom chose a floor-length gown of green and flowered crepe. Best man was Jim Yost, Perry, brother-in-law of the groom. Ring-bearer was Brett Moss, cousin of the bride. Brett was dressed in a burgundy suit and pink shirt identical to the best man.

All the men in the wedding party wore western boots. The rings were carried on a family heirloom Bible, given to the bride by her great- grandmother, Nellie Ely Downing and her grandfather, Elmer Downing. It was originally a gift to Elijah and Josephine Downing when thev were married at Pineville, on October 12.1873. "Serving as matron of honor was Shirley Findell, cousin of the bride, Kansas City, Mo. She wore a burgundy colored, floor- length gown and a sheer cape.She carried a single, long- stemmed pink rose.

Jammy Yost, Perry, niece of the bridegroom was flower girl. Her dress and bonnet were fashioned identically to the candlelighter. She carried a lace-covered basket filled with pink rose petals. The bride was escorted by her father, who was dressed in the western tradition. She was given in marriage by her parents.

The bride wore an ivory quiana gown with long lace sleeves and a matching overlay circling the empire waistline. A large ruffle encircled the bottom of the skirt. The gown featured a deep etched in lace, enhanced by a single strand of pearls. During the ceremony Clifford Downing sang "Follow Me" accompanied by the organist, as the couple took part in a special candlelighting service at the altar. As the service was completed Angle Fishburn, Route 5 Lawrence, sang "The Lord's Prayer." She was accompanied on the organ by Jerry Schick, Lawrence. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church dining area. The. reception was arranged by Mr.

and Mrs. Floyd Gaines, Overbrook, aunt and uncle of the bride and their daughters, Linda Faust, Saundra Gaines and Diana Skinner. Assistants at the reception were Janice Yost, Perry, sister of the bridegroom; Ruth Stebbins, Perry, sister-in-law of the bridegroom and Linda Faust, Overbrook, cousin of the bride. The wedding cake was made by Shirley Harrell, Route 5 Lawrence, and carried out the old-time western theme of the wedding. It was a three-tired, heart-shaped cake.

The bottom layer was topped with a small replica coach hitched with two china horses with a bride and bridegroom standing alongside. The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School.She attended Emporia State and Kansas University and holds an associate of arts in horse management and recreation and park administration from Northwest Community College, Wyo.
