12-bout Amateur Boxing Program In Eureka Tonight To Appear On Amateur Ring Card Tonighf Jon's Gym trainer. Cal Aggies Overwhelm Lumberjack Thinclads Jumping Jack Tom Farmer set a pair of meet records at Arcata yesterday but nothing could hold back the powerful California Aggies as they cap- 12 firsts on their way to a 96-49 1 Far. Western Conference dual track and field meet win. Farmer leaped 22'9 in the broad jump for a meet record and sailed 44'11" in the triple jump for a new stadium a meet record. Distance runner Bill Ferlatle added a pair of firsts picking off the mile with a 4:33.1 clocking and the two-mile with a 10:05.0 timing. Aggie Mike Iverson blitzed his way to a win in the 100-yard dash with a :10 clocking tying the stadium standard.

Iverson came back to log a :22.7 jaunt in the 22-yard dash for another first. Humboldt's Mike Monahan placed second in both events. Tom Rogers upset 'Jack Jim Reams in the quarter mile with' a :49.5 clocking on his way to a double victory, coming back to take the 880 with a 1:59.5 timing. Both times set new records. L.

B. Boydstun tied i Aggie Harry Bergtholdt in the 120 yard high hurdles as both men.were timed at :15.5. Bob Scherar from Davis took a :40.4 win in the 330 intermediate hurdles after 'Jack Fred Cross took a spill on the sixth hurdle. Cross had a five yard lead on the final straightway when he clipped the top of the hurdle and came down on his knee and was unable to finish the race. Bill Hook set a new meet record as he tossed the discus 159'IOM;" eclipsing the mark he set in 1959, by five feet.
