In a circuit court lawsuit filed in Lee County, Attorney General Bob Butterworth charged Robert and Mary Black with using false and deceptive advertising and stealing money from people who never went on the tours offered by Travel World International.

In a separate suit, the Federal Trade Commission charged the couple with making false claims about vacation packages, billing customers who didn't want to go on their trips and not refunding money to people thoughout the nation who canceled the trips.
