B. Q. Depot. Talephon 1 180. 2S7 ONE WORD TO THE SUFFERERS FROM DISEASE The age of miracles has passed.

We know that everything moves by what the scientists call immutable laws. Thev are unvarying from cver- HI 110 X-RAY EXAMINATION FREE lasting. These laws rule alike the heavenly spheres and the actions and lives of those living on those spheres. Al fi i4 rt Iftlil'i rl 1, fit i 1 ilo in fractions of those laws and the usual result is disease or injury or death. It is a law if you overeat that you will suffer.

It is a law that if you fall down in front of a moving train you will suffer. And all of the diseases that afflict mankind come from the conscious or unconscious infraction of some one of the laws that govern the universe. These diseases may be heriditary or acquired. They may be the result of law breaking by home ancestor in the remote past. For the "Sins of the Father Are Visited Upon the Children even unto the Third and Fourth Generation." But if nature provides a penalty for the infraction of the least of her laws bhe has also provided a remedy.

For years I have made a careful study of disease, its cause and effect. And I Lave made a wonderful discovery. I have discovered that nature's remedy for a very large number of diseases is electricity. I use my elecrodes upon the nerve centers of the human system and nature does the rest. If you are suffering from any Female Weakness, have a tumor, cancer or goitre, a victim of kidney or liver troubles, consumption, loss of energy, constipation a myriad of diseases, come and see me.

Consultation is free, and I can tell you whether or not I can be of assistance to you, or whether your disease is in too advanced a stage for any assistance whatever. Do not delay. My method of treatment is perfectly rational and relief is almost instantaneous. I guarantee a cure in all curable cases and cure hundreds that others consider incurable. J.

It will probably require an auditing of the bills to rind out if the local Elks are even on their venture. Friday and Saturday the fair was kept going nt a loss, and the rain cost thousands of dollars. If the fair paid out, its abillity to make money under favorable weather conditicrfns was satisfactorily demonstrated. Maggie llines was subjected to another remarkable operation last week. She had the.

habit of eating her own hair, which Hogged in her stomach, necessitating the use of the surgeon's knife in its removal. Maggie is an orphan. Father Niennann saw that the sister, of which there were several, were given good homes. The Schebler and Werthmann families looked after them. Some three or four years ago Maggie was operated.

upon by Dr. W. S. Allen, and a matted ball of hair, that completely filled her stomach, was extracted at St. Luke's hospital.

She recovered from the operation nicely and was thought to be cured, l'ut the habit with her was second nature. Like tnose who gnaw their ringer nails, Maggie would pluck a hair from her head and nibble nt it as though it were a tidbit. The result was that she grew ill some time ago and was sent to Morbonia hospital for treatment. There it was discovered that she was back at her edd habit again. Dr.

K. S. 1'owman diagonsed the, case and performed the operation last Thursday, taking from her stomach a ball of snarled ami tangled hair of an astonishing size. Still another mass remains in the bowels which will necessitate a second operation in about ten days. According to scientific authority only eight cases of the kind have been known, in only three of which the operation has been a success.

The operation performed upon Miss llines several years ago by Dr. Allen was exploited far and wide at the time as lx'ing unique in surgical practice. Maggie is said to be recovering nicely from the operation. It being the second one. she evidently is becoming used to it.
