When a college football team reaches the middle of November undefeated or even at the top of its league, it goes without saying that it has the stuff that makes champions. For this reason a half-dozen games draw the top billing on tomorrow's program over a whole lot of contests that could be just as Important and possibly more exciting.

are Notre Dame, Michigan, Southern Methodist, Georgia Tech, Pennsylvania and Penn State. Kansas, twice tied, still hasn't been beaten and Southern California has only one tie to mar a perfect record. All of these teams except Southern California encounter very important opposition. BIG 10 TITLE AT STAKE Notre Dame, voted the No. 1 team in the Associated Press poll after last week's triumph over Army, runs into Northwestern, always a tough.

Michigan meets Wisconsin in what likely will be the deciding game of the Western Conference race and Southern Methodist takes on always rugged Arkansas. In Alabama, 'Georgia Tech meets a rival that could upset not only the Engineers but the entire Southeastern Conference championship struggle. Penn and Penn State, with no conference titles at stake, meet Army and Navy, respectively. Kansas has a comparatively soft assignment against Oklahoma A. and M.

YALE MEETS PRINCETON Only slightly less important in the general picture are such games as Oklahoma-Missouri, Texas Chris tian-Texas, William and Mary-Washington and Lee, Louisiana State-Mississippi State, Montana-California and the granddaddy of them all, Yale-Princeton. The 70th Yale-Princeton game in football's oldest unbroken series takes on more than ordinary Importance because Yale still could win the Ivy League crown if Penn should lose to Cornell on Thanksgiving Day. With her brown hair curling out from under her headgear, the blue-eyed, diminutive 16-year-old girl got knocked down only once and astonished spectators on her last play by bowling over two opposing linemen. All this, without ever smearing her lipstick or losing her enthusiasm for the game. "1 was great fun," she said after the gun "Sounded on Stinnett's final game. "I'll be out there with the team again next year.

I'm not hurt a bit, just got my face mashed in the mud." The coach revealed after the game that three more girls now want to play. show. The dog named from the six will gain the title of Philadelphia's grand champion of 1947. The best in show champion at last year's event, Magic Mardormere, sleek Greyhound from the string owned by Mrs. George Anderson, Riverhead, I. will be back to defend its laurels.

Another finalist last November to return to bid for the ultimate award is the Poodle champion, Smilestone's Magic, entry of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Freling-huysen, Morristown, N. J.

Besides this pair of showmasters there will be a host of America's outstanding winners of the past year. Some of them hail from as far west as California and Washington, augmented by several noted Canadian competitors. INCREASED INTEREST The record-breaking total this! year gives a fair idea of the increased interest in virtually every known breed among those recognized 112 of them by the American Kennel Club. By the same tok en, the high figure in breed repre sentation places Philadelphia among the first five cities in the major dog show wheel. At least four breeds will be fostered when special 1947 fixtures will be sponsored by the Bulldog Club of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Cocker Spaniel Club, the Delaware" Valley Shepherd Dog Club and the Middle Atlantic St.

Bernard Club. As usual, cocker spaniels of the American variety head the entry parade with 116, closely followed by the crowd-pleasing Bulldogs with 96; Boxers, 94; German shepherds, 92; dachshunds, 82, and collies, 62. There will be plenty of entertainment for those spectators unfamiliar with the technical points of class judging. For instance (1) the pro gram provides a team demonstration of obedience, small dogs verses large dogs, staged by members of the Philadelphia Dog "Training Club; (2) a parade of Bulldog champions at the conclusion of the Bulldog Specialty show; (3) a review of St. Bernard champions as the climax of the special show for that breed; (4) the appearance of Sergeant Butch Savage, Bulldog mascot of the Marine Corps at the Philadelphia Naval Base; (5) the children's handling class; (6) special obedience test trials, sponsored cy the Philadelphia Dog Training Club throughout the day in the hall's huge basement, and the exhibition of the Pennsylvania State Police's team of German Shepherds.

N. Y. Suspends 3 In Horse Doping NEW YORK, Nov. 14 (UP). Trainer Gus Simone and Grooms Wilfredo Cardageno and Clarence Dahms today were suspended by the Empire City Racing Association af ter evidence of benzedrine had been found in specimens of Comanche Peak.

Pending decision on their case, all horses owned or trained by Simone will not be permitted to run.
