Stewart was well represented at a turkey raffle which was held at Frank Vndrovec's last Tuesday evening. George Maresh and Carl Thiel were lucky enough to win and bring home five turkeys. Frank Potter was a Valley City visitor Thursday. Will Potter accompanied, by George Rohde, hauled a load of barley to Rogers Thursday. A number of neighbors and friends gathered at the Frank Vandrovec, home Friday evening to bid them farewell.

Axel Olson, who has been working for George N. Rasruusson the past summer, left Thursday evening for Seattle, where he expects to remain during the coming winter months.

Frank Smith departed last Saturday evening for Hensler, this state, shipping his personal property with him, and will make his future home on a farm near that place. His many friends in Rogers nd vicinity are sorry to see him leave this community, but wish him much success in his new home. The enthusiastic Wilson supporters took occasion to show their feelings in the matter of his re-election by having a wilson parade as soon as it became definitely known how the election hd gone.

They marched around the town a number of times bearing the portrait of the president and cheering over his victory. S. R. Burch was in the city Friday from Minneapolis. M.

M. Herman was registered at the Rudolf Friday from Minneapolis. Axel Olson, of Dazey, was a visitor in Valley City Friday, stopping at the Valley Hotel. L. H.

Smith was in the city Friday stopping at the Rudolf. C. F. Raach was a visitor at Fargo Wednesday, returning to the city Wednesday evening. The Home Economics club will meet Monday evening at the home of Mrs.

Platou and their daughter, Lila, leave Friday evening for Minneapolis to attend the football game between Minnesota and Wiscon- sin on Saturday. The doctor will return to the city immediately after the game, and Mrs. Platou and Miss Lila will remain in the Twin Cities for a visit of several days with friends, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hall expect to leave Valley City in the near future for Chicago to make their future home, Mr.

Hall going to take over the Chicago office of the Blackwell-Panhandle Lumber company, which he has formerly represented. The family expect to be settled in their new home some time about Jan. 1, but they will leave Valley City a little earlier than that, as Mrs. Hall and Helen will visit at Mrs. Hall's former home in Iowa.

The many friends of the family will regret to learn of their decision to leave here. Mrs. Albert Hollinsliead was an arrival in the city Friday morning on No. 7 from Oriska, to spend the day in the I city with the Hollinshead families. She leaves Saturday for Jamestown for a short stay, and next week exI pects to leave for Spokane, to visit with her daughter, Mrs.

Roy Petty, and family. Mrs. Hollinshead la planning to be there for Thanksgiving and will remain until after the Christmas season. Fargo Forum: Another pretty prenuptial affair in honor of Miss Evelyn I Everhart, of this city, was given this afternoon by Misses Ruth and Faith Gardner at their home, 310 Thirteenth street south. Informal program features that were much enjoyed consisted of vocal numbers by Miss Lillian McCulloch, by Miss Maude Knight and piano numbers by Miss Etta Levitz. Miss Everhart was given a shower of useful and ornamental kitchen articles, the parcels being taken to her by little Marjorie Frame.
