Leatherwood, 76, of 20121 Ramsey Road in a.m. Monday in a BJ ly town nursing home. He had been ill for some time. He was a native of Williamson County and had lived Crosby 24 years. He was a retired boilermaker and a member of Local 74 in He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Crosby.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. T. Barnett officiating.

Leatherwood and one sister, Mrs. K. R. Morgan of Crosby. Eighteen grandchildren also survive.

Leatherwood's body will be at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton until the service hour. MRS. ADDJE M. KAISER Mrs. Addie M.

Kaiser, 78, of Moody House, Galveston, died in a Galveston hospital Monday. She was a former resident of Baytown, having lived here 52 years. She was active in charitable work in the Baytown area. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Earthman Chapel with the Rev.

E. Burns officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery, Humble. Mrs. Kaiser is survived by three sisters, Mrs.

F. A. Richardson of Baytown; Mrs. R. L.

Brooks of Austin; Mrs. Rosetta Payne of Georgetown; three brothers, R. L. Eaves of Dallas, Dr. Charles D.

Eaves of El Paso and I. W. Eaves of Three Rivers, one nephew, Phil Collier of San Diego, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Gene Richardson, Don Tyler, Hugh Osborne, Burt Allman, E. C.

May and Bill Partin. Baytown Man's iMother Dies Mrs. Laura LaVergne of Opelousas, mother of Russell LaVergne of Baytown, died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday in Opelousas. Robert LaVergne and Carl LaVergne of Baytown, her grandsons, also survive.

Services will be at LaFond Funeral Home in Opelousas. Burial will be at Church Point Catholic Cemetery in Church Point, La. Sister Of Baytonian Is Dead Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Earthman Funeral Home for Mrs, William H. Kiser, who died Monday in Galveston.

Mrs. Kiser was the sister of Baytonian Mrs. F. A. Richardson and the widow of the late W.

H. Kiser, an early Baytown and Pelly businessman and former Pelly mayor. Mrs. Kiser lived at Moody House in Galveston. Burial will be at the Humble, Cemetery.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. R. L. Brooks of Austin and Mrs. Rosetta Payne of Georgetown; three brothers, R.

L. Eaves of Dallas, Dr. Charles D. Eaves of El Paso and I. W.

Eaves of Three Rivers; and a nephew, Phil Collier of San Diego, Calif. Pallbearers will be E. C. May, Bill Partin, Hugh Osborne, Don D. Tyler, Gene Richardson and Bert Allman.

Son Of Former Baytown Man Needs Blood The 18-year-old son of a former Baytown man needs blood donations at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston where he is being treated for critical injuries suffered in a recent Raymond Istre, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Istre of Hitchcock and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Istre, 208 Granville, needs 26 more pints of blood.

His aunt, Mrs. Leroy Cashat of Baytown, says ne underwent major surgery this week and has already had several blood transfusions. He is suffering from head injuries and a broken back. Persons interested in donting alood may go to the Ben Taub Hospital and designate that the slood donation is for him. Further information may be obtained by phoning Mrs.

James House at 9:30 a.m. with the sistant minister us celebrant. Many fresh trees are drying out "real fast now" because many were cut so early, Capt. Turner continued. Residents who have open- type heaters are cautioned to move these away from the Christmas tree and packages.

"And on Christmas day when people are unwrapping packages around these heaters the large accumulation of paper can fly into the heaters," he said. Another safety precaution is to dispose of the Christmas tree as soon as possible after Christmas. "We sure don't want a repetition of house loss like we had last year," Capt. Turner said.
