Hearing of Key- iisville were in Sedalia Tuesday where thjey attended the opening of the stafte Demooratio campaign and heard two good speeohes, one by lion. Wm. S. Cowherd, the Demooratio nominee for governor of Missouri, and the other by Congressman Ollie James of Kentucky. The address of eaoh of the gentlemen was able, eloquent and scholarly.

Mr. Cowherd oame out squarely for law enforcement and the Sunday liquor lid and against home rule in the large cities. He ridiculed the position of the Republicans in their state platform in declaring for law enforcement and in thb next, breath favoring home rule in the large cities. Everybody knows what the latter would mean and that liquor would flow freely and. without let or hin-.
