George Gittelmacher, 80, retired assistant manager for the Metropolitan Life Insurance died Monday at Devon Manor Nursing Home. He lived in Narberth. Mr. Gittelmacher worked for Met-' ropolitan for 36 years. He retired 15 years ago.

He was a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel. Survivors: wife, Carolyn daughter, Francine Moses; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Howard Rigberg, 60, sales representative for Gerber Plumbing Fixtures, died Sunday at Lankenau Hospital. He lived in the Penn Valley section of Montgomery County. A graduate of Temple University, he was a member of the board of directors of the Germantown Jewish Center.

Survivors: Wife, June Levenson Rigberg; daughterNancy, and a sister. 'Joseph J. O'Brien, 69, a Democratic committeeman for more than 25 years, died Monday at Frankford Hospital. He lived in the Wissinom-ing section of the city. A Budd Co.

employee for more than 30 years, he retired in 1972. In addition to his work as a committeeman, he was a member of the 55th Ward Executive Committee. He was also active, with the Men of Malvern, the Prosit Club, the Holy Name Society and the Golden Age Club of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church. VSurvivors: wife, Dorothy two 'sons, Francis X.

and Joseph two daughters, Bernadette and Shiela Pell; five grandchildren; a brother, and two sisters. Marion V. Smith Buzby, 79, a beautician, died Tuesday at Rolling Hill Hospital. She lived in Elkins Park. She was the widow of Jason Buzby.

He was a 1917 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Schol of Medicine and served with the Army during World War I.
