May, pastor of Our Lady of Hungary Church in Northampton, died Tuesday at the Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, Pa. He was 71. Msgr. May had been pastor of Our Lady of Hungary Church for the last 24 years and a consultor to the Diocese of Allentown since its establishment in 1961. Born in Hodsag, Hungary, now known as Odzaci, Yugoslavia, Msgr.

May came to Philadelphia at the age of 10 and attended St. Bonaventure's School and St. Joseph's Pre- Msgr. Charles McGinley, 86; Pastor for 36 Years in Logan Msgr. Charles B.

McGinley, former pastor of Holy Child Church, Logan, died Tuesday in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. He was 86 and had been living at the manor for a year. Msgr. McGinley, who was extremely active in community affairs during his pastorate, was pastor of Holy Child from 1931 to 1967. In 1952, he was elevated to the rank.

monsignor. Upon his retirement in 1967, Msgr. McGinley was designated a pastor emeritus. Msgr. McGinley, who was born in Allentown, entered St.

Charles Seminary here in 1907. He was ordained May 22, 1915, and served his first church assignment in Pottstown. He subsequently moved to paratory School. He was a graduate of St. Charles Seminary in Overbrook and was ordained May 29, 1930, by the late Bishop Gerald P.

O'Hara. He was elevated to monsignor in 1963 by the late Pope John XXIII. Msgr. May's first assignment as a priest was as assistant pastor at Our Lady of Hungary Church, from: 1930 to 1936. For the next 14 years, Msgr.

May was pastor of the Sacred Heart Parish in Miller Heights. In 1950, he returned to Our Lady of Hungary as its pastor. He was a member of the board of trustees of Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, and served as secretary of the board from 1955 to 1969. He is survived by a brother, Edward A. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 11 A.

M. Friday at Our Lady of Hungary Church. the Most Rev. Joseph McShea, Bishop of Allentown, will be the principal celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Catherine Prince, Author's Daughter Mrs. George Prince, 50, the former Catherine (Kitty) Drinker Bowen of Bryn Mawr, died last Thursday at her home on Mercer Island, Wash. She had lived in the Seattle suburb since 1953. Mrs. Prince was the daughter of the late author and essayist Catherine Drinker Bowen.

She was a graduate of the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, and received her bachelor's degree in history from Radcliffe Col- several other churches and in 1926 received his first pastorate, in Allentown. After coming to Holy Child in 1931, Msgr. McGinley became active in community a affairs and led an effort to keep low-income housing out of Logan in 1956. After he retired, Msgr. McGinley lived at his family home in Longport, N.

until last year, when he moved to Holy Family Manor. There are no immediate survivors. The body of Msgr. McGinley will be transferred from the rectory at Holy Child Church, 5200 N. Broad to the church at 4 P.M.

Friday. A mass will be celebrated at 8 P.M. A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial, with John lege and her master's degree in Russian studies from Harvard University. She had worked in Washington, D. C.

as a congressional aide and a copy girl for the Washington Evening Star before her marriage to then Army Lt. George Prince of Schenectady, N. in 1945. Prince is now an attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Seattle.

In Washington state, Mrs. Prince became involved in many community affairs. She was active in the League of Women Voters and for several years conducted a television program in which she interviewed political candidates. She was the co-author of a handbook on the various tax systems in the state of Washington and she managed a number of candidates' political campaigns. She helped manage the campaign of U.

S. Sen. Warren G. Magnuson, a Seattle Democrat, last Florence A. Brazington, 95 Mrs.

Florence A. Brazington, of 5051 Chestrat long active in Philadelphia church and community affairs, died Tuesday at the home of daughter, Mrs. Ruth Chandler, 350 W. Ellet Germantown, where she was spending the summer. She was 95.

The former Florence MSGR. McGINLEY Cardinal Krol as principal celebrant, is scheduled for 11 A. M. Saturday. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Allentown.

MSGR. McGINLEY NAACP and the Philadelphia Club. Surviving are two sons, Earl and Andrew, three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Glasco, Mrs. Mildred Holloway and Mrs.

Chandler, and five grandchildren. Services will be at noon Saturday at the A.M.E. Union Church. Burial will be in Eden Cemtery, Darby. Brother Emelian Stigers, 64 Brother Emelian Stigers, F.S.C., a teacher at LaSalle College High School, died Saturday at the home of his sister in Bradenton, Fla.

He was 64 and lived at 8605 Cheltenham ave. A member of the Christian Brothers since 1926, Brother Deaths Elsewhere Henry, Mrs. Brazington was the oldest living member of the A.M.E. Union Church, 16th and Jefferson in which she had been active since childhood. During long service in community activities, Mrs.

Brazington was a member of the Fellowship Commission, Philadelphia Chapter of the Stigers had taught Greek and Latin at LaSalle High School since 1947. He taught at West Catholic High School for Boys from 1927 to 1947. Brother Stigers was a native of Wilmington, and a graduate of Catholic University, Washington, D. C. Survivors include his sister, Mrs.

Elizabeth Pederrile, and a brother, James, of Philadelphia. A Mass of Christian Burial was concelebrated Wednesday. Burial will be at 2 P.M. today in the Christian Brothers Cemetery, Amendale, Md. Otto Strasser, 76, Early Nazi Otto Strasser, 76, a leader of the left wing of the Nazi party until Hitler purged him in 1930, in Munich.

An exile from 1933 until 1955, he made an unsuccessful attempt to found a new national socialist party on his return but attracted few followers. He spent his last years in obscurity. After Hitler became chancellor in 1933, Mr. Strasser fled to Czechoslovakia and waged a propaganda campaign aginst him. When the Nazi conquest of Europe began, he moved to Switzerland, then France, and finally settled in Canada in 1941 under an assumed name.

Mr. Strasser last surfaced in OTTO STRASSER 1969 when a German court rejected his appeal for a state Sidney Klinghoffer, 51 Sidney O. Klinghoffer, 51, a Germantown carpet merchant, died Monday in Germantown Hospital. He lived at 7615 Seminole Melrose Park. Mr.

Klinghoffer, a past president of the Retail Floor Covering Association of Philadelphia, operated Sid K. Carpets at 6205 Germantown ave. and Wilf Brothers Carpets, Green and Chelten aves. She was active on many citizens' committees involving state institutions for retarded and delinquent children, and was instrumental in the construction of a new women's correctional institution two years ago and the selection of its superintendent. A lake at the Echo Glen School for Boys and Girls was named in her honor. An 'active sportswoman, she became interested in tennis at age 40, and competed successfully in numerous tournaments in the Seattle a area.

She won a national championship in the indoors mixed doubles for seniors in 1966, and she coached the women's tennis team at the University af Washington for two years. She also was a ski enthusiast, and became a certified ski instructor at the age of 46. She went on a skiing trip in the Canadian rockies last March, one month before she was stricken with the illness that caused her death. In addition to her widower, Mrs. Prince is survived by two sons, Andrew, 20, of Seattle, and Peter, 12; and a brother, Ezra, managing editor of Time-Life Books in New York.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Thursday at St. Mark's Cathedral, Seattle. Frances Nighan, Podiatrist, 55 Dr. Frances Nighan, a podiatrist, died Tuesday at the Broad Street Medical Center.

She was 55 and lived at 943 N. 68th st. Dr. Nighan, who was born in Philadelphia, was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School and the Chicago College of Chiropody. She was a member of the Women's Army Corps in World War II and was stationed at Walter Reed Army Hospital, Washington, D.C.

She later practiced in Texas. Dr. Nighan was associated with the X-ray department at the Broad st. center. She is survived by a sister, Mrs.

Prince Junio Valerio Borghese, 67, the so-called Black Prince, who sank British warships in World War II and became a leader of the Italian Fascist revival after the war, died at 67 in Cadiz, Spain. Prince Junio fled Italy in March 1971 when he was accused of heading a Fscist plot to overthrow the government.

Born to an ancient Tuscan family that included the 17th century Pope Paul Prince Junio became one of Italy's war heroes in 1942 when he led the naval frogmen force that sank the British warships Valiant and Queen Elizabeth in Alexandria harbor. After the Italian government ousted Mussolini and signed an armistice with the Allies in 1943, the prince went north to the dictator's lastditch Republic of Salo and fought the anti-Fascist partisans.
