4-A Friday Morning, November 2,1984 Monnie Wiseman DICKINSON Monnie P. Wiseman, 78, formerly of King's fountain, N.C., died Wednesday tt Autumn Hills Nursing Home in Sriendswood. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Dickinson, Rev. Horace McMillan officiating.

Local arrangements are by Crowder Funeral Home of Dickinson. Services will be held Monday at p.m. at the Spruce Pine Methodist Church in Spruce Pine, N.C., Rev. Ed Lee officiating. Burial will be in Green Leaf Cemetery in North Carolina, under direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wiseman, born April 14, 1906 in Burnsville, N.C., was a retired teacher with the Lansdale, school district. Survivors include one son, Donald G. Wiseman of Dickinson; two sisters, Bess Tippett and Patricia Jenkins, both of Merritt Island, one brother, Charles Piercy of Asheville, N.C.; and four grandchildren. Mrs.

Wiseman will lie in state at Webb Funeral Home Sunday. Memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 200 FM 517, Dickinson 77539. Ruth Sparks TEXAS CITY Ruth Sparks, 89, died Friday. Mrs. Diaz was born March 6, 1912 in Sinton, Texas. Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Silliman of Galveston; five sons, Ruben Gutierrez of Friendswood, Daniel Gutierrez of Galveston, Manuel Gutierrez of Dickinson, Phillip Gutierrez of Chula Vista, and Carlos Gutierrez of Saudi Arabia; five sisters, Rita Reyes of Texas City, Frances Gonzales of Alta Loma, Rebecca Ames of Clear Lake, Matilda Castillo of La Marque and Leonora Garcia of Galveston; one brother, Jesse Garcia of Galveston; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Campbell was retired from Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple and was a former Galveston resident. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Temple, the Order of the Eastern Star and was recently honored as the first nurse in the Temple Day Surgery Unit. She was also honored by Gov. Burial will be in.Houston National Cemetery in Houston. Mr. Lacy was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Lubbock and had been a resident of Seabrook for the past 17 years. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University and the University of Texas Law School.

He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He served as a captain for the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include two sons, Donald Dyer Lacy III and Stephen Howard Lacy, both of Seabrook; his mother, Margaret Lacy of Seabrook; and a sister, Linda Lacy Kruse of Seabrook.
