A. Redford, 1001 Sixth The Rev. Fred Cowlcs, formerly, of Leavenworlh. officiated at the ceremony. Mrs.

Jean Foreman, organist, played "Traumerei," Promise Me." "Because," and "Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us before the service. A duel, "The Wedding Song sung by Lee Foreman and Forrest Clough, opened the service. Mr. Foreman also sang the "Lord's Prayer" and Mr. Clough sang Prayer." Wedding The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore an old- fashioned satin gown which she designed herself.

The lace bib which covered the front bodice and the high collar of the princess-style satin gown was trimmed with three overlapping layers of lace ruffling. The fitted sleeves also were of matching French chanlilly lace and scattered seed They tapered" to a scalloped design at the wrists. A deep ruffle of scalloped matching lace and pearl trim finished the front of the gown and continued up the back to form a bustle, which was topped by a satin bow at the waist. A long satin train finished with the same rultled lace and pearl trim flowed from underneath the bustle. The long, two-tiered veil of bridal illusion was attached to a Juliet cap covered by the Redford.

Judy Redford, Topeka, assisted at the reception. Miss Kathy Ruby, 601 Olive, attended the gifts and Miss Pam Culbertson, Ft. Leavenworth, presided at the guest book. After a wedding trip to Corpus Christi, the couple will he at home at 1405 S. Broadway.

Mr. and Mrs. David Polley Spilker Polley Vows Exchanged at Seward Hund-Wedel Vows Exchanged May 17 Connie Spilkcr, Plymouth, became the bride of David Polity, Leaven worth, May 3 in St. John Lutheran Church, Seward, Neb. The parents of the newly weds arc Mr.

and Mrs; Glen Spilkcr, Plymouth, and tile Rev. and Mrs. Victor Polley, 311 N. Seventh. The ceremony was performed by the father of the bridegroom and the Rev.

W. Wayne Meier. Professor Charles Ore was the organist. The Concordia Singers, directed by Professor Carlos Mcsserli, sang "Magnificat" written by Professor Ore for the occasion. The bride wore a white satin with a lace stand-up collar, lace-covered inset on the bodice, an empire waist, gathered long sleeves with wide cuffs, an A-line gored skirt will) back gathers and a self- train with a ruffle around the bottom with lace trim.

She also wore a floor-length veil. The dress and veil were designed and made by the bride. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses, daisies, white carnations and baby's breath. The maid of honor was Miss Terri Spilker, Plymouth, Personal Notes same lace and the gown. She carried a bouquet of yellow rosebuds and orange blossoms with baby's breath and green fern and her great- grandmother's handkerchief.

Miss Denise Kuebhuuscn, 3013 New Lawrence Road, sister of the bride, was maid of lioniir. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Sheila Shaffer and Mrs. Harriott Jones, Kansas City, sister of the bridegroom. The attendants gowns were made of moss green, gold and burnt orange satin.

They were princess styled and long sltevuil with insets of ivory lace at the necklines which rose to high collars. They wore cameos on their collars and ivory floppy hats trimmed in ivory lace and 'ribbons to match their gowns. They carried hurricane globes surrounded by assorted colors of dried flowers and streamers. Miss Mclanie Nunn was the flower girl. She wore a dt'op red satin dress with Juliet sleeves and a high collar covered by a floral pinafore.

She also wore a matching flora sun bonnet and. carried a wicjiei basket of dried flowers. The L'andjelighters were David Ruebhausen, brother of the bride, and Miss Diane Griffith. Their outfits were deep red and were covered by a waist length white robe. The best man was Hal NEW DAUGHTER Mr.

The best man was Walter Polley, brother of the bridegroom, Grantsville, Utah. She wore a peach dress with butterfly sleeves of pale blue orint to match Ihe bridesmaids' Tony Grieshabor, lepliew of the bride, was the ringbearer. Randy Asbury, brother-in-law of the bride, and Tom Bowman were the groomsmen. They wore tuxedos with light blue jackets and pale peach shirts. The ushers were Dennis Hund. brother of the bride, and Dennis Schubert. The reception after the ceremony was in the church hall.
