PAGE 2 THE DAILY NEWS, Huntingdon and Mount Union, July 7, 1972 Obituaries H. Foster Thomas Grace L. Bard Miss Grace L. Bard of Hamburg, a native of Huntingdon County, died Thursday, July 6, 1972, at 6 a.m. at the Hamburg State School and Hospital.

ShewasSl. She was born April 18, 1921 at Rockhill Furnace, a daughter of John A. and Bertha (Fike) Bard. She never married. She is survived by two brothers: Cecil L.

Bard of Elizabethtown and Harold L. Bard of Chambersburg. Miss Bard was of the Methodist faith. Private funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8 at2p.m. at the Ott funeral home, Orbisonia.

The Rev. Myron R. Jones of the Orbisonia United Methodist Church will officiate and interment will be made in the Rockhill Furnace 100F Memorial Cemetery. There will be no viewing. H.

Foster (Red) Thomas, Tyrone RD 4, died Thursday, July 6 at 2:30 a.m. in Mercy Hospital, Altoona, following an extended illness. He was born June 29, 1892 at Tyrone RD 4, the son of Martin and Annie (Kauffman) Thomas. He was a lifelong resident of the Tyrone RD 4 area. He is survived by two brothers, Ralph Thomas, Tyrone, and Samuel Thomas of Tyrone RD 4.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church, and was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of Howard Legion and the Warriors Mark- Franklin Volunteer Fire Company. He was a retired farmer. Funeral service will be con- ducted Saturday at 2 p.m.
