PAGE 2 THE DAILY NEWS, Huntingdon and Mount Union, June 1, 1972 Obituaries Mrs. Margaret Hook David H. Jones Mrs. Margaret C. Hook of Houserville died Wednesday, May 31, 1972 at 5a.m.

in the Centre Crest home in Bellefonte. She was born in Stormstown on January 22, 1914, a daughter of Charles and Hannah (Houtz) Packer. Surviving are two children: Mrs. William Knepp of State College and Charles E. Hook of Huntingdon.

There are six grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister and three brothers: Mrs. Edna Cain, Myrle Packer and Clair Packer, all of Bellefonte and Elwood Packer of Sciota. The deceased was a member of the United Methodist Church at Houserville. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, at 2 p.m.

from the Wetzler funeral home in Bellefonte. The Rev. Harold C. Hornbeck will officiate and interment will be made in Centre County Memorial Park in College Township. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.

Thursday. Kenneth Mugridge W. Kenneth Mugridge, 161 East Main Street, Millheim, a former resident of Huntingdon, died Saturday, May 27, 1972, at 3 p.m. at Centre Community Hospital, Bellefonte. While living in Huntingdon he was a Boy Scout executive for' the Oneida District, Juniata Valley Council.

He was born in South Fork, the son of John and Lillian Dingle Mugridge. He is survived by his wife, the former Tillie Turner, three children; Gary Mugridge of Lima, Ohio, Mrs. Kathy McCaughin of Harrisburg and Jeffrey Mugridge, at home; one sister, Mrs. Laura Byrne of Stow, Ohio, and six grandchildren. He was a retired director of volunteer resources at the Laurelton State School and Hospital and was a graduate of Penn State University.

He was active in Boy Scouts for many years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Johnstown, the Milheim Lions Club and St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Mill heitn. Jones, 74, of 601 Broadway, Westville, New Jersey, formerly of Huntingdon, died May 30, 1972 at Woodbury, N.J.

He was born at Lackawanna County, on April 3, 1898, the son of Edwin G. and Margaret A. (Jones) Jones. He was united in marriage with Dorothy S. States of Huntingdon.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son, David H. Jones, of Westville, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Magin of Mantua, N.J.; two grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Edward Jones of Hanover; Thomas Jones of Fort Lauderdale, Mrs. Evelyn Dorion, Reading; Mrs. Margaret Cooper of Albany, N.Y.; Mrs.

Ann Tyson of New Pultz, N.Y., and Mrs. Frances Reinhart, Ojai, Calif. Mr. Jones was a member of the Woodbury Heights Presbyter- Ian Church, Woodbury, N.J. A retired maintenance supervisor of the New Jersey Turnpike, he belonged to the Frank P.

Horn- mon Post No. 24, American Legion of Huntingdon, and the Florence Masonic Lodge No. 87 of Woodbury, N.J. He was a veteran of World War having served In the Army-Air Force. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family on Friday from the Davis funeral home, 171 Delaware Street, Woodbury, N.J.

Larry Zilch, Jr. Huntingdon. Word has been received of the unexpected death of Richard T. Puckey in Melbourne, Australia where he and his wife were vacationing. Puckey, a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii, was born October 3, 1912 in Orbisonia, a son of Dr.

J. A. Puckey and Florence (Ripple) Puckey. He was united in marriage to Lilly Williams, who survives, along with three daughters: Mrs. Joyce Junge, Mrs.

Pam Jensen and Mrs. Ricki Lamm, all of Seattle, Wash. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Marion Shingler of Orbisonia and Mrs. Dorothy Clark of Mount Union.
