He left to join the coaching staff at Drexel Tech (now Drexel University), but in 1946 he was back in the Interacademic League as head coach at Episcopal Academy. Mr. Orsi coached for 11 seasons at Episcopal, resigning because of the demands of his scouting assignments and the business he had established as a manufacturer's representative.

In those 11 seasons, Mr. Orsi's teams won three Interacademic League championships outright and tied for three others. From 1946 until 1960, Mr. Orsi scouted college games on Saturdays, then, as an agent for the Philadel By Edgar Williams Inquirer Staff Writer John Orsi was a specialized Agent 007. He was to football what James flJnd was to international espionage.

Orsi had left football to become a manufacturer's representative and Bagnell had become an investment broker, the two worked together in the activities of the Maxwell Football Club of Philadelphia, A native of Newark, N. J. Orsi was one of Colgate University's all-time football greats. He was named to the All-America team in 1931, the season when Colgate was "unbeaten, untied, unscored upon and uninvited," meaning that despite its fine record, it received no bowl bids. After graduation, he remained at his alma mater as assistant football coach under the storied Andy Kerr.

In 1941, Mr. Orsi moved to the Philadelphia area, working for the Bendix Corp. On weekends he carried out scouting assignments, and within two years had such "clients" as Michigan, Southern Methodist, North Carolina, Tennessee and Michigan State, who were all willing to pay good fees for his services. In 1942 and 1943, Mr. Orsi was head coach at the Penn Charter School in ble and civic organizations, including WHYY-TV, the public broadcasting station, as a member of its board of directors.

He was also a director of the White Williams Foundation, the Hebrew Immigration Society of Philadelphia, the American Technical Society of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Art Alliance. Mr. Levy also was a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He was born in Philadelphia, and graduated from Drexel Institute and the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in chemical engineering. William J.

Bennett Sr. William J. Bennett 59, a retired personnel manager at the Frankford Arsenal, died Monday in Burlington County Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, N. J. He lived at 31 Margin Levittown.

Mr. Bennett had worked at the ar senal for 30 years and retired last year when it closed. Mr. Bennett was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea. Surviving are his wife, the former Geraldine Sanderson, two sons, Wil- liam J.

Mr. Levy received numerous honors throughout the years, including a citation from Drexel on its 60th birthday for his contributions as an industrial and civic leader. The Levy Medal, awarded by the Franklin Institute, honors the Levy family for its many contributions to the institute over the years. Mr.

Levy is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Wasserman, a well-known sculptor; two daughters, Joan L. Coale and Carol L. Franklin; a son. Louis and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.

Mr. Levy was the past president and board chairman fo Max Levy manufacturers half-tone Tscreens. The half-tone screen, used to 'reproduce photography in newspa-'-v'pers and magazines, was invented by Mr. Levy's father, Louis E. Levy, in -1899.

An inventor in the field of photo-Jrtechnic processes, Mr. Levy had been -member of the Committee of and the Arts of The Franklin In--stitute since 1916. He had served on the institute's "board of managers since 1940 and as a director emeritus since 1960. Mr. Levy and his father served the Institute for more than a century.
