Mrs. Mercure chose for daughter's wedding a brown dress with blue accessories and a white. pink and vellow corsage. Mrs. Ketchum wore a grey dress with black accessories and a similar corsage.

A dinner for members of two families was served at noon at the Vogue at Lily Lake. followed by a reception for 200 guests at Club Lilymoor in the evening. The newlyweds are now residing on the William Staines farm west. of MeHenry The bride attended the local high school and is emploved at Local Cleaners The bridegroom attended the Crystal Lake and Mellonry schools and in- now employed Clark Chevrolet. "Traits and Habits of Children and What They are Mrs. Colby gave information on children from infancy to pre-school age and Robert Gardner spoke of children ranging from to 10. Mrs. Earl Mecklenberg spoke children whose ages, were from 10 to 14 and Einar Berhents on the high school age groups.

Each did a fine job of bringing out information that was both interesting and educational. Honored At Bridal Shower Miss Norma Hiller. who will become the bride of Robert Knox on Jan. 27 of this month, was honored at a pre-nuptial miscellaneous shower held at the Johnsburg hall last Sunday afternoon. Hostesses were Helen and Julia Knox.

Grace and Estelle Hiller. Bernice Freund and Patty Schmitt. Forty-five friends and relatives from Chicago, "Wilmette, McHenry and Johnsburg were present to enjoy a social afternoon which included games. White streamers formed the hall's decoration. leading to an array of lovely gifts.
