SEPTEMBER WEATHEU. Brlrl B. Hicks' Astronomical Storm Chart The 3d, and days next to bring reactionary rains, with change to more pleasant weather. From the 7th to.llth is a combination of causes which will, doubtless, result in active storms. Many dry sections will have rain at this time.

Note the 8th to night of the lltb. Reactionary movements will be more marked on and about the 13 tb, in consequence of Earth's approaching Equinox. The 18th to 21st is a regular storm period, with Earth at equinox. Storms must result. Be watchful, especially on and near the lakes and seas.

Bridges, postmaster at Grand Junction, Colorado, is ing, and so is $3,000. The Chicago Farmers' Review ports no damage to corn by frost except in localities in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and the Dakotas. When the subscription to the stock of the Chillicothe Normal school was being made, it will be remembered that President Allen Mcore pledged himself to pay six per cent interest on the amount taken by citizens, and eventually to buy the stock at "par. The time to good the first named promise has arrived, and we are reliably informed that Prof. Moore has promptly redeemed his word by depositing the amount in the Citizens National bank, the agent of the stockholdersy to whom it will be paid as soon as the same can be extended on the records, notice of which will be published in a short time. This speaks well both for Prof. Moore and the financial as well as educational success of his institution.

During the year past, 1890, there was shipped from this county the immense amount of $150,00000 worth of apples alone, to say notninv of what was sold to home consumers or of the many other varieties of fruits.
