Wm, Smith Drops Dead William Smith, a plasterer, whose home Is on Mill street just north of the McElhany Hotel, fell dead at 8:15 o'ckck this morning io front of the Neosho Savings Bank building at the southeast corner of the square.

Deceased has been in partnership with M. Greenwood in the plastering and concre'e business and was in company with "his partner when his death occurred. They were walking along the street talking and laughing and Mr. Smith was evidently fee'ing all right, when suddenly he fell to the and expired with a few moments. A physician was called and after an examination prtnounced him dead.

The ambulance of the Bigbam Undertaking Co. was summoned and the body was at once taken to the Btgham parlors. tf Elliott Exonerated Frank JE'Hott, a constable of Duenweg, who shot and killed Clarence Epperson Thursday was exonerated by the coroner's jury before which the case was beard yes'erday. Coroner G. W. Buzzard of Seneca presided at the inquest. The jury return'd a verdict that Epperson "Came to his death by a gunshot wound inflicted by Frank Elliott, who believed his life was in The inquest was abcut 11 o'clock yesterday morning end continued in the afternoon, the jury gjingr out and viewing the scene of the tragedy, which was a lane running south frcm the Elm Springs road to the Walker Fruit Farm and only a short distance from where the dead man resided.
