They said the body of Gary Grant 7, who had been missing since Thursday afternoon, had been found near a warehouse in the 100 block of North California Street, about two blocks from the child's home, in the 2500 block of Arctic Avenue. The discovery was made by Robert Hughey, commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and owner of the property where the body was found, police said. Hughey, who lives in Margate, went to the warehouse about 2:30 p.m.

An autopsy was being performed last night and results were not immediately available.
