Wesley E. Jensik Wesley.E. Jensik, son of Mr. and and ----Mrs. Joseph Jensik, was born May I March 6, 1856, in Nove Mesto in LICTIliC, and one great Cheryl Louise Tibbetts, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at Narka Presbyterian church with the Rev. Amos Rundus officiating, Thursday, December 14. Burial was in Rational cemetery. Joseph Skucius Joseph Skucius, son of Frances Phyllis Skucius, was born 6, 1866 at Gibson, Wise, and de this life December 12, 1960 at Narka at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 6 days. Wesley came to Kansas with his parents while still youth.

They homesteaded on a farm three miles south and one-half mile east of Narka. Several years passed before the Jensiks moved to a farm Moravie, and died December 15, 1950, at his home at Munden, at the age of 94 years, 9 months and 8 days. In the year 1882 he was united in marriage to Mary Musil and to this union four children were born, three sons and one daughter. Skucius came to this country with his family in 1890, settling in brothers and two sisters. He is vived by three sons, Joseph of San Diego, Henry of Hubert of Chester, a daugh- ter, Mrs.

Mary Polak of Munden; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, December 19, at 2 o'clock at Z.C.B.J. hall in Munden with the Rev. Joseph Krhbunek reading the' service. Interment was in Tabor cemetery.

Jensik was an active member of Z.C fraternal association for! 50 years. His chief interest in I life was his home and family. A kind and loving husband and fa- ther, he was a good neighbor ever willing to help others in need, Farriiing, which he loved, was his life's work. i Preceding him in death were his sister, Mrs. Katherine Kobes, two brothers, Joseph and Adolph.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Antona of Narka; a son Ernest of Narka; one brother, Al bert; three grandchildren, Jimmie. and' Elayne Jensik of Narka and they moved to Republic county, near Munden. In 1922 Mr. and Mrs. Skucius moved to Munden where he lived until his death.

Simmons, son of Willia mand Martha Simmons, was born February 29, 1892, at Elk Creek, and passed awav December 27, 1950, at Winter Veterans' hospital, Topeka, at the age of 58 years, 9 months and 27 days.

The Courtland vicinity had been Mr. Simmons' home since his parents moved there when he was an infant. He was married to Stella Waterman in 1911. One son, Harry, was born to the couple. Both his wife and son preceded him in death.

On October 3, 1931, Grover was united in marriage to Lela Mae Kauer. A daughter, Donna Delight, was born to this union. Mr. Simmons served in the United States armv from July 24, 1918, until January 26, 1919. was a kind and ioving husband -and father and was always ready to-help anyone in Those who are left to mourn his passing are his wife, Lela; his daughter, Donna; four brothers, George of Scandia, John of Republic; William of Formoso, and Richard of Kansas City; two sisters, Katherian Thomas of Camarillo, Sarah Stanley of Orange, Three brothers preceded him in deatl).
