Vernon Grant. 226 Grant was escorted to the altar by her father. She chose an antique satin bridal gown with fitted short sleeves and a' modified scoop neckline. The extremely full skirt was caught up.at regular intervals and held by roses of hand alencon an aleh'cdn lace flounce on the underskirt. The bodice, neckline and sleeves were, trimmed with the same clusters of lace and the back of the bodice closed with tiny pearl buttons.

The headpiece of matching lace, fitted snugly to the head and dipped over the forehead, was edged in seed pearls. From at fell the short shoulder length veil of pUre silk illusion. Vernon Grant appeared- in a loden green nylon lace dress with satin trim. Her white accessories included a cymbidium orchid tied with green ribbon. Mrs. Joseph Spafford wore a purple brocaded sheath with matching jacket and hat. Her cymbidium orchid was tied with purple iribbon.

A reception and buffet in the church parlors i followed the service.
