Knowlton, a former right-handed pitcher for the Athletics back in 1920, will be held Tuesday afternoon from his late residence, 3601 South 84th st. Mr. Knowlton, who was a policeman connected with the 42d District at 50th and Lancaster dropped dead near his home last Friday. He was 45 years old. Mr.

Knowlton gained fame as a sandlot hurler in this city before going to Petersburg In the Virginia League.
