EDDELBLUTE The funeral of Gary Lee Eddelblute, 22, of 2415 45th st NW, Canton, a former Navarre resident who was killed Tuesday night when pinned beneath a railway car in the loading yards of Republic Steel Corporation's 12-inch mill in Canton, will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Welch-Sekeres Funeral Home in Canton. The Rev. Donald W.

Bartow of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Canton will officiate. Interment will be made 'in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Jackson Township. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to Mr. Eddelblute was employed for the past year as a in the steel mill yard. He was bom in Massillon and during childhood lived in Navarre until moving to Canton 11 years ago.

He was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School in Canton. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. JohptJune Orwick of Canton: his father, Carlton Eddelblute of Belpre; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Charlotte) Angerer of Navarre and Mrs. Thomas (Eileen) of Canton: grandparents, Mr.

and Mrs. Ivan Wade of Tampa. former Navarre residents. Arthur Nave Arthur Nave, 96, who resided with a daughter. Mrs.

Elmer Dorothy) Rauschenbach of 213 Woodlawn ave NW, Canton (Perry Township), died Wednesday afternoon after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Nave was the last descendent of the original Nave family of the Richville area of Perry Township for whom Nave st SW is named. He spent his entire this area. He had retired from employment in the roller bearing industry, first with the Timken Roller Bearing Canton and later with Tyson Bearing Co.

of Massillon. He was a 50-year member of the Canton cnapier of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics and a member of the North Industry Sportsmen's Club. His wife, Ethel, died July 27, 1947. In addition to Mrs. Rauschenbach, the survivors are another daughter, Mrs.

Malloy (Arlene) McGuyrt of Canton; three sons, Lester L. Nave of Panasoffkee, Marvin L. Nave of Richville and Daniel Nave of Massillon; 15 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home in Canton with the Rev.

Miles M. Strine, pastor of Zion United Methodist Church in Canton, officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. MissHclcBM.Radick Miss Helen M.

Radick, 55, of 4201 Massachusetts ave NW, Washington, D.C., died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lynn House Nursing Home at Alexandria, Va. she had been ill for eight months. Born in Brewster, Miss Radick was employed for the past 15 years by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency in Washington.

She was a graduate of the former Brcwster High School (now Fairless) and Western Reserve University of Cleveland. She was a veteran of World War II, having served four yaars with the WAVES. She was a member of the Fifth Church of Christ Scientist in Washington, D-C. Miss Radick is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Samuel Radick of Massillon; seven sisters, Mrs. Mildred Burkett, Mrs. Caroline Heintzelman, Mrs. Daisy Gradijan. Mrs.

Eva Kovatch, and Mrs. Julie Henry, all of Massillon. and Mrs. Mary Harenbcrg and Mrs. Martha Balzer, both of Mansfield; and three brothers, Eli Radick of Massillon, George of Canal Fulton, and Stanley Radick of Fairview Park.

A private funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Gordon- Shaidnagle-Hollinger Funeral Home with Reader Perry Ballinger of the Massillon Christian Science congregation, officiating. Cremation will follow. There will be no calling hours. Ralph W.

Schworm Ralph W. (Jake) Schworm of 5167 Konen ave NW, Canton (Jackson Township), died early today in Aultman Hospital in Canton following an extended illness. Mr. Schworm was born in Jackson Township, near North Canton. He was a division foreman for the East Ohio Gas Co.

He was a member of the Community Christian Church of North Canton and the North Canton Elks 2029. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Yvonne Schworm; two daughters. Miss Louise Schworm of Chicago, 111., and Miss Holly Schworm at home; a son, David at home: a sister, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Barber of North Canton; and a brother, Carl Schworm of Spartanburg, S.C.

A daughter, Sally, preceded him in death. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lewis-Karlo Sons Funeral Home in North Canton with the Rev. Jerry M. Sullivan, his minister, officiating.

Interment will be made in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Jackson Township. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Vivian Sargent Mrs. Vivian (Midkiff) Sargent, 40, of Parma, a former resident of Brewster, died Monday evening in her residence.

She had been ill for some time. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Midkiff of Brewster. Mrs.

Sargent is survived by three daughters, Debbie, Sherry and Sandy and a son, Danny, all of Parma; a sister, Mrs. William (Virginia) Lewis, and a brother, Edward Vernon, both of Brewster. Goldie Teach, 84, of 243 A st, Wilmington, Clinton County, died Wednesday morning in the Happy Hours nursing home at Wilmington after a six month illness. Mrs. Teach was a former saleswoman for Litt's Department Store in Wilmington and since retirement did tailoring for the city's stores. She was a member of Wilmington United Methodist Church. Her husband, Charles Teach, died in 1989.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Beverly and Mrs. Flossie Speer, both of Wilmington; a son, Charles Teach of Marshallville; six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Smith- Reynolds-Sulcer Funeral Home at Wilmington with the Rev.

Grace F. Armitage Mrs. Grace F. Armitage, 82, of 1245 Hankins rd NE, the widow of Edward H. Armitage, died at 4:10 a.m.

77, of 9041 Midnight Pass Sarasota, Fla. died Wednesday morning in Sarasota after a long illness. Mr. Ryder was born and resided most of his life in Massillon, until moving to Sarasota 11 years ago after retirement. He started employment with Republic Steel Corp.

in January 1917 and retired 46 years later in October 1962, as a switchman with the transportation department of the Massillon plant. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ryder; four sons, Dale and Harold, both of Massillon and Floyd and Walter Ryder, both of Sarasota; 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held Saturday, at a time and place to be announced by the Paquelet Funeral Home here. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

McKinney former national chairman of the Democratic party, banker and sportsman, died Wednesday night at his Indianapolis home. He was 69. Woman's death ruled accidental Stark County Coroner G. S. Shaheen has ruled that the death Tuesday morning of Miss Mabel Gamble, 78, of 710Mz Mahoning rd NE, Canton, was accidental and that the cause of death was first, second and third degree burns of the entire body sustained in a fire in her apartment.

Miss Gamble had been ill for many years and lived alone in her apartment. She was a member of the Pentecostal Temple of the Church of God in Christ in Canton. SURVIVING are four sisters, one of whom is Mrs. Edna Mcllwain of Canton. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.

Ehret, 67, of 1142 Tremont ave SW, a Massillon grocer, died Wednesday at 9:55 p.m. in the Massillon City Hospital where he was admitted Monday. He had been ill for several weeks. Mr. Ehret was a native of Massillon and operated his own grocery store at 13th st and Tremont ave SW from 1944 to 1966.

Since 1966 he had been employed at the P. J. Bordner Company's Amherst Park Shopping Center store. He was a longtime member of the Massillon Grocers Association and a member of the Perry Christian Church, where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his widow Mrs.

Harriet E. Ehret; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Patt, a son, Joseph E. Ehret, and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Gladys) Earle, all of Massillon: and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Gordon-Shaidnagle-Hollinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherriell E. Storey, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. ITU Local 53 withdraws aid CLEVELAND (API- Cleveland printers belonging to the Typographical Union Local 53 voted 680-348 Wednesday against making contributions of $1 a shift to fellow members of the local who have been on strike against the Painesville Telegraph since last July. Fulton still issuing permits The Canal Fulton Board of Public Affairs is still issuing tap-on perrmits for water connections in the village.

Tuesday night, the board heard a letter from Douglas Harbrouk of Twinsburg, an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) engineer in which he informed the village that there was a ban in effect on the issuance of tap-on permits for water connections. WEDNESDAY night, during a continuation of the board's Tuesday night meeting, the board heard a second letter from Harbrouk in which he retracted the ban and apologized for any inconvenience caused ther. village. The board issued five-tap-on permits at the Wednesday night meeting. The board heard two plans for improvement of the village water system at Tuesday night's meeting but took no action on either plan.

The plans were submitted by Richard Friedl of the engineering firm of Friedl and Harris of North Canton, which serves village. A plan recommended by the Columbus engineering firm of Brugess and Niple which made a study of the village water system in 1969 provides for a tie-in which would improve circulation of water and also enable water to be suppliedL from two sources. The plan, it was stated, would improve water pressure for fire fighting purposes and would eliminate some service disruptions. Friedl submitted his firm's plan which calls for the installation of a booster pump at the reservoir at the west side of the village to improve water pressure, particularly for fire fighting purposes. Conflicting forces of mainland and ocean weather cause erratic temperature changes on Vancouver Island.

Clinton man hurt in crash Daniel R. Clark, 18, of Clinton was injured Wednesday when his car slid into a ditch on Warrick dr in Summit County, 1.3 miles north of Canal Fulton. Clark was released after treatment at Doctors Hospital Tor contusions to the abdomen. The accident was investigated by the Ohio Highway Patrol. Woman falls, hospitalized Beverly Brighenli, 42, of 3338 Bailey st NW, Perry Township, fractured an ankle when -she slipped and fell in the parking lot of Melody lane at 4329 Lincoln Way E.

She was admitted to Doctors Hospital, where surgery was to be performed today. Attendants reported her condition as "satisfactory." IT WAS reported at the meeting that since the village has complied with nearly all requirements the EPA, the EPA and State Department of Natural Resources will send representatives to the village Friday Jan. 18. to discuss reasons for the withholding of approval of the village's plans for the sewage disposal plant expansion and improvement project with officials of the village and the board of public affairs. The meeting, which is not a public session, will be held in the village hall.
