This portion of the Beltway is the only two-lane roadway on the entire CHCumferential roadway Alternatives which are being considered included a parallel viaduct and a new at -grade roadway Further study has been made of reconfiguring the existing roadway system, particularly in the Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows' Point vicinity. A Public Hearing is anticipated to be held later this year The purpose of the workshops is to present the engineering concept for the alternatives which have been studied in detail since the June, 1992 Workshops. All interested citizens are invited to attend and participate in the workshops.

The workshops will begin with a short presentation that will describe the study, the alternatives currently being considered and the next step in the study process. Large scale maps of the alternatives will be on display during the workshops Representatives of the Maryland Transportation Authority will be available to answer questions during the workshops.
