Special to The Inquirer. CHESTER, I March 3. The largest chase staged in Chester comity this season took place today with the start at the grounds of the Chester County Agricultural Association of a fox recently captured by the Boot Hunt Club, near Paoli. Three hundred riders, including many prominent hunters and women, were in the chase and the combined pack of rounds numbered over one hundred and fifty. William Sheller released the fox shortly before noon, and for five hours it gave the hounds and riders all the sport they could handle.

Angered when his brother, Ien Denn, 52 years old, refused to patch up a family feud by drinking with him at the Denn cabin along the Brandywine River early this evening, John Denn, 3S years old, shot Mrs. Denn, his sister-in-law, and his brother and then turned the shotgun on himself, tiie charge tearing away the lower portion of his face. Mrs.

Marcus a member of the Delaware regimen in France, says that such an explosion took place and that Howard Johnson and James Gears were killed.

Show Model of Memorial Bridge Special to The Inquirer. HARRISBURG, March 3. The model of the memorial bridge which was proposed to erect as part of the Capitol Park civic centre programme of the State was placed today in the Senate ante-room by Arnold W. Brun-ner, the architect, who explained it to State officials in company with J. E.

Greiner and II. G. Perring, the bridge engineers. The bridge is declared to be one of the handsomest in design in the country. There are two pylons sixty feet high at the entrance, each to contain a chamber in which will be placed the names of every Pennsylvania in the army or navy in the war with Germany.

Brinley president of the American Pulley Company and well known as a scientist and economist, died yesterday at his home, 247 South Sixteenth street. He was 72 years old. Mr. Brinley was born in Hartford, Conn. He was educated in the public schools there and afterward entered the Sheffield Scientific School at Yale University and graduated in 1809 with the degree of bachelor of science.

In 1872 he came to Philadelphia and entered the employ of the Midvale Steel Company as a chemist and two years later became superintendent. After ten years at Midvale he became general manager of the Franklin Sugar Refinery and held this position ifhtil his retirement in 1892. In 180S Mr. Brinley again took up business life and organized the American Pulley Company. It-lends invited to funeral services.
