Mrs. Dineen retired from Harris Bank of Barrington and most recently from Wal-Mart of Crystal Lake.

She was a longtime volunteer at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Survivors include a son, Tom; a daughter, Peggy Valentine; two sisters, Hannah Toben and Lee Miller; a brother, Bud Raatz; five grandchildren; and a greatgrandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 27 Three Oaks Cary, where she was a member. Adam Paul Stanek Adam Paul Stanek, 83, of Crystal Lake died Tuesday in his home.

Mr. Stanek had worked as a grocer. He was a an Army veteran of World War II and a cardiac rehab patient at Northern Illinois Medical Center. Pauline Rand, 61, former court monitor By Krystyna Slivinski SPECIAL TO THE TRIBUNE Pauline A. Rand, 61, of Arlington Heights, a retired court monitor, died Tuesday in Northwest Community Hospital. Born in Garfield Plantation, Maine, Mrs. Rand married her high school sweetheart, Theodore, shortly after graduating from high school. They were married 43 years.

They moved to the Chicago area in 1955 and in 1969 moved to Arlington Heights. After she raised two daughters, Mrs. Rand took a job as an administrative James E. Chartier James E. Chartier, 67, of Palatine died Tuesday in Resurrection Hospital in Chicago.

Mr. Chartier, a Chicago native, retired in 1990 as an engineer for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. after 37 years of service. After retirement he worked part-time at Palatine Hills Golf Course as a starter and a ranger, supervising play on the course. Mr.

Chartier served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1952, stationed in Greenland. His daughter Kathy Molhem said: "He was always there to lend a helping hand. He was one of those people who, in a pinch, you could always count on." Other survivors include his wife, Rita; two sons, James and Kevin; another daughter, Maureen Trittschuh; a sister, Patricia Foley; and nine grandchildren. Frasco Mary C. Frasco, 70, died Tuesday in her Palatine home. Mrs. Frasco, a native of Chicago, retired in 1990 as an accounting clerk in the accounts payable department of the former Gateway Transportation Chicago, after 27 years of service. Robert W. Harth Robert W. Harth, 75, of Arlington Heights, died there Tuesday in Northwest Community Hospital. Mr. Harth, who was born in Long Grove, retired in 1988 as a foreman for the Arlington Heights Public Works Department, after 33 years of service.

Mr. Harth was an Army veteran who served with the 71st Infantry Division in Germany in World War II. "He was the most generous man. He had a lot of friends," said his wife of more than 50 years, Leona. His daughter Nancy Hull said, "He'd do anything for anyone." Other survivors include another daughter, Debra Klipowicz; two sons, Robert and Douglas; two brothers, Alan and Ronald; a sister, Joyce Pinkley; and eight grandchildren.

Audrey G. Lawson Audrey G. Lawson, 70, of Barrington, died Tuesday in her home. Born and raised in Jackson, Mrs. Lawson moved to Chicago in 1969.

During the 1980s, she worked as a sales representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics for five years and then later as a sales manager for Weekender Casual Wear in Lincolnshire. She retired in 1990. "She just liked being around people," said her daughter Terry Gaylord. Other survivors include a son, John Landfair; two more daughters, Kim DuBiago and Laura Anders; a brother, Al Hersha; four sisters, Gertrude Tittler, Patricia Phillips, Winifred Hubbard and Sally Sprehe; six grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
